Late payments may be subject to interest at the rate permitted under Oregon law and may include reasonable collection costs and attorney fees if legal action is required.

3. Change Orders and Additional Work

Any requested changes, additions, or modifications to the original scope of work must be approved by both parties.

Additional work may be documented through:

  • A written change order
  • Email authorization

Additional work will be billed at:

  • Agreed project rates, or
  • Connections Electric’s current time-and-material rates

14. Hidden / Unknown Conditions Clause

Electrical systems may contain concealed hazards or code violations that are not visible during an initial inspection. If concealed conditions are discovered during the course of work that require correction to safely complete the project or meet electrical code requirements, such work will be treated as additional work and may require a change order. Connections Electric will notify the customer before proceeding when reasonably possible.

15. Owner-Supplied Materials Clause

Connections Electric does not guarantee the performance, compatibility, or warranty of materials or equipment supplied by the customer. Installation of customer-provided equipment is performed at the customer’s request and risk. Any additional labor required due to defective, incompatible, or missing parts will be billed at standard service rates.

16. Access to Work Area Clause

The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to all work areas. Work areas must be free of obstructions, stored materials, pets, and hazards. If Connections Electric is unable to perform work due to restricted access or unsafe conditions, additional service charges or rescheduling fees may apply.

17. Service Call / Diagnostic Fee Clause

Electrical troubleshooting requires time to diagnose the source of the problem. Service or diagnostic charges apply regardless of whether repairs are completed. Any repair work may be, if requested, quoted separately after the issue has been identified.

18. Call-Back / Warranty Limit Clause

Workmanship Warranty

Connections Electric warrants its workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion unless otherwise specified in writing. This warranty applies only to the specific work performed under the contract and does not cover:

Any modifications must be made in writing and approved by both parties.
